Jaipur entrepreneur Praveen Saini is building an AI venture out of his influencer marketing roots

Praveen's family roots trace back to Bagar, a town located around 18 km from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan.

At 22, Praveen Saini is already several years into a career that began, almost by accident, on Instagram. In 2021, a following built around his content on the platform gave him an early, practical education in how online audiences form and engage, an education that would later steer him into the influencer marketing industry, and eventually into building a company of his own.

Saini is the founder of Influence Nexus, a venture under his broader company, WIZ4U Group, that is being developed as an AI-powered platform for influencer marketing. He started out as an intern in the field, learning the mechanics of how brands, creators and agencies negotiate and execute campaigns. That early experience scaled quickly: Saini and his team now work with a network of more than 50,000 creators and have run over 50 campaigns for brands across a range of categories.

The idea for Influence Nexus grew out of a problem he kept running into on the agency side of the business: influencer marketing is notoriously hard to measure. Brands still lean heavily on followers, likes and views, numbers that say little about whether a campaign actually moved sales or built lasting brand value. Saini's platform is built around a different premise, using ROI calculation and performance intelligence as its core offering, with the goal of giving brands a clearer read on what their influencer spending is actually returning.

Where a traditional agency manages relationships manually, Influence Nexus is designed to fold creator discovery, campaign management, automation and performance measurement into a single technology layer, part of what Saini describes as a shift from an agency-led model to a technology-first one.

The influencer marketing platform is not his only project. Through WIZ4U Group, Saini is also involved in developing other AI-based tools, applying the same instinct for turning operational pain points into products.

His track record includes a Grand Finalist finish at the Smart India Hackathon in 2022, and stints as an incubatee at PIEDS, BITS Pilani, and currently at iStart Rajasthan, run out of the Bhamashah Techno Hub by the Government of Rajasthan. He has also engaged with startup ecosystem programs including Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups and AWS for Startups.

Outside the business, Saini hosts a podcast with more than 35,000 subscribers, where he has interviewed entrepreneurs and founders including Mohit Tyagi of Competishun and Himanshu Rajpurohit of Nexra.health, along with founders of startups that have appeared on Shark Tank and others who have been through successful exits. The conversations, he says, double as an informal continuing education, a way to learn directly from people further along the path he's on.

Saini has also become a regular presence at Rajasthan's startup and industry events, including Rising Rajasthan, Rajasthan DigiFest and the Rajasthan Youth Conclave, where he has had the chance to observe and engage with business leaders, investors and policymakers. Rising Rajasthan in particular drew figures such as Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla and Anand Mahindra, while DigiFest has served as a meeting point for government officials, technologists and startup founders. At the Youth Conclave, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman attended as chief guest.

He has also taken on a teaching role of sorts, running sessions and workshops at colleges and organizations on entrepreneurship, AI, and digital marketing, work he says keeps him connected to people earlier in their own careers.

Over the course of his career so far, Saini has crossed paths with several established digital creators, including Technical Guruji, Neha Nagar and Satish Kushwaha, interactions he credits with sharpening his understanding of the creator economy from both sides of the table, brand and creator alike.

For now, Saini describes his focus as narrow: build out Influence Nexus, keep learning from the founders around him, and grow WIZ4U Group's other ventures over the long term. He remains open to collaborations across AI and technology, brand and creator partnerships, and speaking or workshop opportunities, describing the journey as still an early one, with the goal simply to keep learning, keep building, and create something that lasts.
