The Karate Association of Maharashtra State Championship witnessed an exceptional performance by Team DMA INDIA from Dreamz Martial Arts Academy at the Nashik Divisional Sports Complex during the prestigious tournament held on 8th, 9th, and 10th May 2026.
The academy proudly celebrated remarkable victories as talented champion Prashil Jadhav secured the Gold Medal, while Mayank Chotwani achieved the Silver Medal in their respective categories. Their outstanding achievements brought great pride to the academy and showcased the high standard of training provided by Dreamz Martial Arts Academy.
The competition featured top karate athletes from across Maharashtra, making these victories even more special and significant for Team DMA INDIA. The students displayed exceptional discipline, confidence, strength, and advanced Kumite techniques throughout the championship.
A major credit for this grand success goes to renowned karate coach and mentor Master Sumit Pandey, whose dedication and continuous support towards students have helped the academy achieve new heights. Under his expert guidance, the students of Dreamz Martial Arts Academy have become highly skilled competitors, especially in Kumite, where the academy is widely recognized for its dominance and technical excellence.
Master Sumit Pandey is regarded as one of the most experienced and respected karate masters in India. Known for his powerful coaching style, discipline, and ability to develop champions, he has earned immense respect in the martial arts community. Many karate enthusiasts and students across India recognize him for his contribution to the sport, and supporters proudly refer to him as the “Indian Karate King.”
