Mr. J. Jaydish is a first-year M.Sc. student currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Botany at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli. He is actively engaged in research in the field of plant science, with a strong focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence to reduce the complexity and stress involved in plant biology research.
He has developed AI-enabled software tools aimed at simplifying plant biological studies. Notably, he created Leaf X-Ray AI, the world’s first AI-assisted software tool for the digital reconstruction of leaf anatomy. This innovation overcomes traditional barriers associated with manual cross-sectioning techniques and represents a significant advancement in plant anatomical studies.
This groundbreaking work earned him a World Record, officially registered in the UN Book of World Records, New York, United States of America. His contributions to plant biology and AI integration are highly commendable.
