Mumbai: The Indian Folk and Classical AWARENESS (IIFCA) is set to host an awards ceremony to honor outstanding Indian folk and classical artists. IFCA Director, Amin Chandrakar, highlighted the organization's long-standing commitment to promoting Hindustani classical and folk music through various events across India and on international platforms. “For many years, IIFCA has been dedicated to promoting Hindustani classical and folk music by organizing events at various locations. IIFCA has also expanded its efforts to international levels,” said AMIN CHANDRAKAR. “While India hosts numerous types of awards, those recognizing classical and folk music have been comparatively few. This initiative is aimed at raising awareness and appreciation for classical and folk music across the country.” The prestigious event will take place in Mumbai, with several Bollywood dignitaries expected to participate, adding glamour to the evening dedicated to the rich cultural heritage of Indian music.
